Ireland and Italy join forces?
The Irish and the Italian flags are very similar. They are both triclor flags with the three colors being the same size. For the color blind they may even be identical but for the rest of us they are not. Ireland's flag is green, white and orange, while the Italian flag is green white and red. These bloopers have company. The same bloop from two different shops. On the other hand both designs are very cool so be sure to check out the other items in their stores.

Otaku is my homeboy?
The word "Otaku" is a Japanese word that can loosely be translated as geek or nerd. It is a culture in Japan that is famous for their obsession with animation charaters and the like. The word otaku though has more than one meaning and this is where mistakes can happen. The otaku that this design is supposed to represent is usually written in the Japanese syllabary known as katakana but it can also be written in the other syllabary called hiragana. This otaku which you see in the bottom left corner is written using hiragana and kanji (Chinese character). This word simply means "one's home" and has no relation to geeks or nerds.

Ireland and Erie - What's the connection?
I found this nice design while browsing through Irish designs at Cafepress but something caught my eye. The design says "Ireland" on the top and "Erie" on the bottom. I'm not sure what the connection is. Erie, I believe, is a lake in North America. Eire, on the other hand is the irish word for Ireland. There are some great items in this shop though and there motto is "Screw 'em if they can't take a joke"
