While there are no naked people you will see a lot of japanese men bearing their chests as they carry and throw these large portable shrines (o-mikosh), around. This is an image of the Great Buddha in Kamakura Japan. In Japan it is called Daibutsu which roughly translates as "Big Buddha". It is located in a town called Hase in the city of Kamakura, not so far from Yokohama.

Fuji Flag

Hokusai (1760-1849) used many different mediums to create art but is most famous for his Ukiyo-E. This Japanese flag known as Japan's Wartime flag and to some has bad connotations. Few though can deny the beauty of the simple strong image.
